Privacy notice

This notice explains how we process your personal data under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

1. Data controller

Zebussi Dış Ticaret Limited Şirketi (“Zebussi”, “we”), İçerenköy Mah. Şükran Sk. No:14, Ataşehir, İstanbul, Türkiye, processes your personal data as the data controller.

2. Personal data we process

  • Identity and contact details: your name, company, email address, phone number and country.
  • Request details: the content of your message and any files you send us by email.
  • Technical data: your IP address and basic connection records, kept by our hosting provider for security.

3. Why we process it

  • To answer your questions and prepare quotes.
  • To carry out our business communication with you and the steps before a contract.
  • To keep this website secure and protect it against misuse.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

4. How we collect it and the legal basis

We collect your data electronically, through the contact form on this website, by email, by phone and through WhatsApp. We process it on the basis that it is necessary for steps taken before entering into a contract (KVKK Article 5/2-c), for our legitimate interests provided this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (Article 5/2-f), and to comply with our legal obligations (Article 5/2-ç).

5. Who we share it with

We share your data only as needed for the purposes above:

  • with the service providers that run this website and our email: Cloudflare (hosting and security), Resend (delivery of contact form messages) and Google (email);
  • with public authorities when the law requires it.

Some of these providers keep data on servers outside Türkiye, including in the United States. Such transfers are carried out in line with Article 9 of KVKK.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as needed for the purposes above and for any period required by law. After that it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Under Article 11 of KVKK you have the right to:

  • learn whether your personal data is processed, and request information about it;
  • learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used for that purpose;
  • know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data is transferred;
  • ask for incomplete or incorrect data to be corrected;
  • ask for your data to be deleted or destroyed under the conditions of Article 7;
  • ask for corrections and deletions to be passed on to third parties who received your data;
  • object to a result against you that arises solely from automated analysis of your data;
  • claim compensation if you suffer damage because your data was processed unlawfully.

9. Cookies

This website does not use cookies for advertising or analytics. Our hosting provider may set cookies that are strictly necessary for security.
